Next month sees the Tappi Place Conference take place over three days in Ponte Vedra, Florida. The emphasis is mainly on flexible packaging and the businesses that make it possible, including print companies, retailers, converters, and supplies.
The conference will consist of a welcome reception, keynote speeches, lunches, and the presentation of awards. Featured speakers will include Bruce Welt, Dave Parrillo, and Joel Morales. Some topics of conversation are set to include sustainability in packaging and how the industry is embracing flexibility.
In addition, guests can take a tour of St. Augustine and attend a gala dinner. A silent auction will raise funds to support student outreach programs, and there will be lunches featuring guest speakers.
One other aspect of the conference is the technology showcase, which will be highlighting some of the new and innovative attributes in packaging machinery.
The Tappi Place Conference will be held at the Sawgrass Marriott from May 13 to 15. The welcome reception is taking place on May 12, the Gala at the Beach Club follows on May 14 from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, and the tour of St. Augustine is being held earlier the same day, with tickets available for $45.
