A Minuteman Press location in Florida hired a local payroll service to handle their payroll. It appears that this firm did not remit taxes collected from wages paid, and that the Internal Revenue Service is seeking payment of certain monies from the firm which hired the local payroll service, while the local Sheriff is investigating the firm hired and the circumstances. If you have used a local payroll firm, you are advised to verify that all taxes due whichever taxing authorities have been properly calculated and remitted to that/those taxing authorities.
