Time to spring into wedding planning

Spring is here, love is in the air, and, all across the country, couples have begun the task of planning their wedding. While this can sometimes be a hectic process, with the help of a printing company, choosing a design for the invitations can become a great deal easier.

The first step is to decide how formal the wedding will be, as this will be an important guide to crafting the invitation. For some, this will mean a traditional and elegant style, while with for others, something more whimsical is in order. Whatever the style, stationery printers will be able to offer helpful advice and ideas that can assist in selecting the design. While a 6.25-inch by 4.5-inch size and shape is standard, there are many others to pick from, ranging from round to heart-shaped. This allows the couple to further express their creative side.

Next, they should decide if color will be incorporated into to the invitation. While a black text on white, cream or ivory stock is a classic choice, other hues can be added as well. This will create a cohesive look that can be carried through to the place cards, menus, and other printed items.

Though it may not be as exciting as choosing a color, shape, and style for the invitations, the font style is very important. It needs to be legible and include all the essential information, such as the date, time and location. Of course, you should double and triple check this information – there’s nothing worse than sending out invitations containing a glaring error!
