The Publishing Business Conference and Expo, sponsored by Interquest, is taking place in New York City this September for three days. This conference will be of interest to publishers, printers, and suppliers.
The conference will be divided into five key areas – book, magazine, tech, STM, and scholarly. The expo will feature information booths from book and magazine publishers and others in related industries.
There will be a number of seminars and workshops to choose from at the conference. Two of these seminars will fall under the title of the Digital Printing in Publishing Forum, which will take place over two days.
The first seminar is titled "Digital Printing Opportunities in Magazines and Newspapers". It will feature discussions about on demand publishing, opportunities available worldwide, and solutions to the problems that publishers face in dealing with the current digital world. The second seminar will be "Digital Book Printing", and participants here will be discussing current trends and issues in book publishing.
The Publishing Business Conference and Expo will take place at the New York Marriott Marquis from September 23-25. Full access to the entire conference is $1,195, which includes a Kindle. The fee for one day is $575 and an Expo only pass is $45. Digital Printing Opportunities in Magazines and Newspapers will take place on September 23 from 1:30pm - 5:00pm. Tickets are $345. "Digital Book Printing" will be held on September 24 from 9:00am - 5:00pm. Tickets are $245.
