The 2014 Graphics of the Americas Expo and Conference is taking place in just under two months’ time in Miami Beach. It is a presentation of the Printing Association of Florida (PAF).
This annual event attracts those who work for graphic communications and printing companies from North, Central, and South America.
There are two parts to the event; the expo and the conference. The expo is set to feature the latest in new products and machinery, and visitors will get a chance to test some of the new items out and to ask questions of the manufacturers. The floor will be divided up into various sections such as the 3D Printing Zone and the Wide Format Print Shop Live!
The conference will feature a keynote speech from Peter Muir of Bizucate Inc.,, as well as more than 50 seminars in both English and Spanish. Among those who will be speaking at the conference are Lloyd P. DeJidas Jr. from the Printing Industries of America, Leslie Groene of Greone Consulting, and Joe Martin from Digital Technologies. Specific topics of seminars will include text and type, color management, and competitive printing.
Graphics of the Americas 2014 is taking place at the Miami Beach Convention Center from February 27 to March 1, beginning at 10:00 am each Day. A full pass for the expo, conference, and seminars is $369. Alternatively, seminars cost $75 each and admission to the expo is $15.
