Nevada expo to showcase the newest technology and information

The SGIA Expo, presented by the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association, is taking place in Las Vegas this October.

The expo, which is expected to attract over 500 exhibitors, is aimed at those who work for printing companies and other graphic design organizations. There will be several meals included, along with networking receptions, seminars, and machinery demonstrations throughout the three-day event.

Steven Shapiro will deliver the breakfast keynote address. Attendees can participate in several different tracks of seminars, including graphics and imaging, business management, and garment printing. Some of the topics to be discussed include graphics and signs, extreme vehicle wrapping, pricing printing services, and opportunities in trade graphics.

The expo itself will be divided up into zones of installation, color management, textiles, garment decoration, sustainability, and digital signage. Each zone will feature demonstrations of machinery and information about products from manufacturers under each topic.

Admission to the trade show floor is free if guests register before October 1. After that, the price will be $35 for all three days. Full conference fees are $296 for exhibitors before the cut-off date or $330 after, $170 or $200 for attending SGIA members, and $396 or $440 for non-members. Seminar packages also range in price, starting at $170 for members or $230 for non-members.

The expo is being held at the Las Vegas Convention Center from October 22 to 24. To find out more about the expo and conference, contact the SGIA at 888-385-3588.
