Offset and Beyond offers recipes for success

Offset and Beyond 2012 is taking place at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch from June 4 to 6.



The keynote speakers will be Craig Faust, Michael Komasinski and Volker Petersen who will be discussing “Ingredients for leadership excellence” based on their own experiences in the business world. There will be five separate tracks to follow throughout the conference which is mainly aimed at print company employees:




  • Leadership/Executive Management/Financial

  • Operational Management

  • Prepress, Press and Postpress Production

  • Inkjet and Wide Format

  • Digital and Beyond



Topics which will be covered include how to be innovative in business, the efficiency and profit opportunities of finishing, the use of inkjet applications through Inkjet Connect, hybrid printing, the ink and paper market, Standards and G7 in use, and how printing companies are adapting to the future by becoming more eco-friendly. There will also be a tour of Anheuser Busch. In addition, the Binding Industries Association (BIA) Annual Conference is being held at the same time and is open to registered attendees of Offset and Beyond.



It’s important that those in the graphics and printing industries keep up with trends and changes in the industry, and this conference should go some way to ensure this. Fees are $995 for Printing Industries of America members and $1,195 for non-members, there is a discount $100 for each additional member from the same company up to three and then fees are $595 each for four or more employees. There are also several other levels of fees for suppliers, students and educators; student fees are only $125 for the complete conference.
