Print 13 set to take place in Chicago

The Print 13 conference, presented by the Printing Industries of America, is taking place over five days this September. Being held at the same time will be the Photo Imaging International Business Forum, the ING 2013 Conference, and the CPP Expo Conference.

This important meeting showcases the latest printing technology and provides educational opportunities for those who work for graphic design or printing companies. Guests will be able to meet and talk to experts in their field, attend educational seminars, take part in giveaways, work in computer labs, and attend the Premier Print Awards Gala. The conference floor will be divided up into different pavilions, such as News Print, the In-Plant Place, and Education Main Street.

Seminars cost $150 each with discounts for multiple sessions. Some of the topics expected to be covered as seminars include managing color, the designer’s role in making color decisions, and printing at high speed in wide format

The conference also features a trade show, in which printing companies and other firms can show off their latest products or highlight their services, offering a way for those in the industry to network with one another and possibly find a future partner or client.

Print 13 will be held at McCormick Place in Chicago from September 8-12. Tickets for the trade show only are $55 each, and the price rises to $76 for the CPP Expo Conference and $95 for the Photo Imaging forum. More information can be found on the conference's website.
