Upcoming tradeshow offers opportunity for printers

In just over two months, The Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI) Show will be taking place in Chicago for three days. The event usually attracts over 5,000 visitors and 700 exhibitors.

While the emphasis of the show is on advertising, there will be lots of opportunity for the likes of banner printing and sign printing companies to promote their products. Among the companies already confirmed for the trade show are those that produce labels, promotional items, large-format printing, and signage.

The show will feature networking receptions, lunches, power sessions, seminars, and workshops, and a gala reception will take place aboard the Mystic Blue, all of which will provide a networking opportunity for those in the marketing industry and those who supply them with printed advertisements.

The keynote speaker of the show is Erik Wahl, who will discuss ‘The art of vision and leadership’. Among other topics to be discussed are dealing with social media, screen printing, and marketing.

One important part of the show for printing companies is the Signage and Decoration Pavilion. This brings together all exhibitors who are professionals in graphics, signs, and decorative products such as banners. Exhibitors can rent spaces for prices ranging from $2,479 to $9,916 depending on their size.

The ASI Show is taking place at McCormick Place in Chicago from July 15 to 17. Fees begin at $199 in advance for non-members or $234 at the door. To learn more about the show, or to become an exhibitor, call 1-800-546-5300.
